Shelter Reservation Form

A Park Shelter Lottery will be held at the TAPD office on Saturday, April 10th at 9 a.m. Numbers will be drawn at 9 a.m. to determine the order in which shelter reservations will be taken. The ball diamonds at Cullinan Park and City Park may also be reserved if they are available. After April 10th, shelter reservations are accepted on a first come first serve basis at the TAPD office. Forms are available at the office or on the website.  All park shelters have lights and electricity with serving areas.

The large shelter at City Park has approximately 38 tables and holds 300 people. Reservations may be made for the entire shelter, the West end (by the ball diamonds) or the East end (by the basketball courts). Residents may reserve 1/2 the large shelter for $10 for up to 4 hours or the entire shelter for $20 for up to 4 hours. Non-residents may reserve 1/2 the large shelter for $15 for up to 4 hours or the entire shelter for $30 for up to 4 hours.

The small shelter at City Park has approximately 11 tables and holds 100 people. Residents may reserve the small shelter for $10 for up to 4 hours. Non-residents may reserve the small shelter for $15 for up to 4 hours.

The shelter at Cullinan park has approximately 15 tables and holds 120 people. Residents may reserve the shelter at Cullinan Park for $10 for up to 4 hours. Non-residents may reserve the shelter at Cullinan Park for $15 for up to 4 hours.

Additional fees will apply when reserving the shelter for more than 4 hours.

PARK ORDINANCES

  • No alcoholic beverages are allowed in parks.

  • No dogs, horses or golfing allowed in parks.

  • No skates or skateboarding allowed in parks.

  • Motor vehicles on roadways and parking areas only.

  • Parks close at 10:00 p.m.

  • No open burning or grilling.

SHELTER RESERVATIONS

Shelter reservations are made at the park district building during office hours.

The large shelter at City Park contains 38 tables and holds approximately 300 people. You can reserve the entire shelter or half. The West end is by the ball diamond. The East end is by the basketball courts.

The small shelter at City Park contains 11 tables and holds approximately 100 people.

The shelter at Cullinan Park contains 15 tables and holds approximately 120 people.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel within 24 hours of your reservation time, we will only refund 1/2 of your fee.
