2010 Triathlon Sold Out

7:30 a.m. Race Start

.25 mile swim, 12.8 mile bike, 5k run

Who is participating this year?

Entry fee includes: Race entry, chip timing, t-shirt, water bottle, registrations for post-race raffle (must be present to win), and family entry to Tremont Pool immediately following swimming portion.

NOTICE: The 2010 race will start athletes based on their swim times. The first wave will include the 4 top returning Men, 4 top returning Women, 2 top returning relay teams, and 2 additional lanes based on the decision of the race director. Starting sequence will be determined based on entries on June 1^st. Any entries received after June 1, 2010 will begin the race based on their entry date.

Proceeds will benefit the Tremont Pool. USA Triathlon membership NOT required.

Event Description:

SWIM: .25 mile (16 lengths) in our outdoor pool

BIKE: 12.8 mile loop on country roads north of Tremont (ROUTE)

RUN: 5k (3.1 miles) on a relatively flat closed course (RUN ROUTE)

Transition area will be located on Sampson Street. Finish will be in front of the Tremont Pool.

Race Limit: 200 Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female, male and female fastest individual splits (non team) for swim/bike/run, top 3 in each age group, fastest male and female Tremont finisher.

Packet Pickup: Friday 3-7 p.m. & Saturday 6:00 - 7:00 a.m. at Tremont Pool.
