NOTICE: The
2012 race will start athletes based on their swim times.
The first wave will include the 4 top returning Men, 4
top returning Women,
2 top returning relay teams, and 2 additional lanes
based on the decision of the race director.
Starting sequence will be determined based on entries on
June 1st.
Any entries received after June 1, 2012 will begin
the race based on their entry date.
Proceeds will
benefit the Tremont Pool. USA Triathlon membership NOT
required.
SWIM: .25 mile (16 lengths) in our outdoor pool
BIKE: 13.22 mile loop on country roads north of Tremont (ROUTE)
RUN: 5k (3.1 miles) on a relatively flat closed course (RUN
ROUTE)
Transition area will be located on Sampson Street. Finish
will be in front of the Tremont Pool.
Race Limit: 250
Awards will be
presented to the top overall male and female, male and
female fastest individual splits (non team) for
swim/bike/run, top 3 in each age group, fastest male and
female Tremont finisher as well as top 3 finishers in Cydesdale and Athena
categories.
Packet Pickup:
Friday 4-7 p.m. & Saturday 5:30 - 6:30 a.m. at Tremont Pool.
